Day 13 – Plyometric Cardio Circuit

Today I had a change of plans. Got up early and rode my bike to make some errands for 8 miles. I purposely rode roads that had steep inclines to test my climbing and I was was rather impressed how I was able to sprint uphill on a heavy mountain bike and more so how I was able to catch my breath quickly after the climb. Insanity is truly paying off even if the pounds are not yet melting off my frame.

I have a gravel bike race in 2 weeks and while doing Plyometric Cardio Circuit I was visualizing sprinting to the finish and winning the race. That little visualization helped me pick up the tempo and push harder especially around the level 1 drills, ski abs and in and out abs.

Each day I learn more about myself and I get better.
